Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) provides the latest security and reliability updates to the Windows XP family of operating systems, and includes Internet Explorer 6 SP1. Windows XP SP1a is designed to ensure Windows XP platform compatibility with newly released software and hardware, and includes updates that resolve issues discovered by customers or by Microsoft's internal testing team. To determine whether to install Windows XP SP1a, we recommend reviewing the Windows XP documentation and information below. If you have already installed Windows XP SP1, you do not need to install Windows XP SP1a.

Comment:	I downloaded but couldnt install because the Product key was invalid. Can anyone help? There is no link for info or contact.

Comment:	This SP1a downloaded and installed Ok - no issues. It enabled the dinosaur of my home computer to accept the USB 2 PCI card that I'd recently bought and installed, until then I kept getting a USBEHCI.SYS file missing warning, and with the PC not having any SP updates, I couldn't install the patch that I'd found for it.
